SmartDocMD provides healthcare on your terms. Complete our online patient interview at a time and place convenient for you. You will receive a personalized health screening tailored to your specific problem for free. If a prescription is needed, opt to skip the waiting room and connect with one of our partner sites. They will provide board-certified doctors to send your prescription electronically to the pharmacy of your choice. You can expect a response within minutes to hours at most. You can choose to be notified via text or email when your treatment plan is ready. No need to even leave the house until you pick up and pay for the prescription at your pharmacy.

SmartDocMD specializes in triaging non-emergency medical conditions that can be safely evaluated without an in-office visit. SmartDocMD does not provide a diagnosis or treatment. Instead we partner with other sites who employ board-certified doctors. These doctors and other providers can diagnose and treat sinus infections, cold/upper respiratory infections/cough, urinary tract infection (UTI), eye infection/”pink eye”/conjunctivitis, eye allergies and yeast infections. No insurance is needed. Telemedicine expenses may be eligible for reimbursement through your FSA or HSA, so check with your provider.

SmartDocMD partners with board certified physicians who are licensed to practice in your state. These doctors go through a rigorous application process. They must have passed all portions of the United States Medical Licensing Exams (USMLEs) along with having a valid prescribing DEA license.  Additionally, they are among the best doctors in their field and recommended by their peers. The online patient interview (OPI) utilizes diagnosis and treatment plans based on official medical society care guidelines. Our partner’s doctors follow these evidence-based guidelines because it results in better, safer, more effective care for you. If needed, their doctors can usually provide a note for excuse from work/school.

SmartDocMD does NOT collect any protected health information or “PHI.” Regardless our private and encrypted website and servers ensure the data you enter is never sold or tied to you. We hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to important medical information. We are HIPAA compliant and adhere to the highest security standards.
